Exciting news -- Nazarian group researcher Ethan Chow '27 has been awarded a Goldwater Fellowship. The Goldwater is the most prestigious national award for undergraduate STEM researchers and speaks to both Ethan's past research as well as his promise as a scholar. Congratulations, Ethan!

​We're so pleased to announce that the Nazarian group, with Dr. William Vasquez (Fairfield University) and Dr. Jenn Trudeau (Sacred Heart University) have received a grant for over $143,000 to support their sea level economics research!

With two podium presentations and two poster presentations, the Nazarian group proudly represented Fairfield at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the American Geophysical Union in New Orleans!

Brody, Ethan, Aidan, and Prof. Nazarian traveled to the 2024 American Geophysical Union Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. to present their latest research on extreme snowfall over mountain regions. More to come on this exciting project!
